mack truck photo The Dennys River Volunteer Fire Department was formed in 1949 to provide fire protection service to the Town of Dennysville and the surrounding townships of Edmunds, Marion, and Township 14. In addition to our service area, we also provide mutual aid to the Towns of Charlotte, Pembroke, and Whiting; as well and being first responders to Cobscook Bay State Park and The Moosehorn Federal Game Reserve.

Our service is located between the cities of Calais and Machias in Washington County, the easternmost count in the United States. We are operated on a completely volunteer basis and cost of operation and equipment is obtained through donations and State and Federal Grants.
